INTRODUCTION

MOST CHRISTIANS HAVE PROBLEMS IN THEIR LIVES. WE TEND TO HAVE EXPLANATIONS AS TO WHY THINGS HAPPENED THE WAY THEY DID. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEBODY TO BLAME. WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS WE BLAME THE DEVIL. YES IT’S ALWAYS him.

I WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AT THINGS DIFFERENTLY, MAYBE FROM GOD, S PERSPECTIVE, IF I MAY HUMBLY SAY THAT KNOWING FULLY WELL THAT THE WORD SAYS GOD'S PERSPECTIVES ARE DIFFERENT FROM OURS NEITHER ARE HIS WAYS OUR WAYS. Isaiah 55:8

1....WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT? HOW DO I RELATE TO HIM? WHATS HIS JOB? HOW DOES HE FIT IN WITH THE WORK OF JESUS IN MY LIFE?, WHAT ABOUT THE TRINITY? HOW DO THEY WORK? WHO DOES WHAT? WHO IS WITH ME ON EARTH? AND MANY OTHERS. BUT MOSTLY HOW DOES OUR IGNORANCE, MISUNDERSTANDING OF WHO THE HOLY SPIRIT IS, AFFECT US? PLEASE BE PATIENT AND READ BECAUSE A LOT OF OUR PROBLEMS ARISE FROM NOT UNDERSTANDING THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES. SINCE YOU ARE IN LINE FOR ANSWERED PRAYER, READ ON AND PAY ATTENTION.

THE TRINITY

WHO IS THE TRINITY?

THE TRINITY IS THE GODHEAD. THE MEMBERS OF THE GODHEAD ARE THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. THESE THREE ARE ONE YET THREE. WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT THEY SHARE THE SAME SUBSTANCE. EQUAL IN POWER HONOR AND MAJESTY. IT’S GOD MANIFESTING HIMSELF AS THREE INDIVIDUALS. THAT'S WE SAY GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. WE CELEBRATE THE ONENESS OF ONE, YET WE CELEBRATE THE THREE NESS OF THREE. THEY ARE THREE DISTINCT INDIVIDUALS WITH CLEAR DISTINCT PERSONALITIES, AND DIFFERENT ROLES OR JOBS IN A BELIEVERS LIFE.NB. THIS IS NOT MODALISM. IM NOT A MODALIST. GOD IS ONE PERSON EXISTING IN THREE PERSONALITIES.WHAT BINDS THEM TOGETHER THEN? IT’S THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER AND THE SPIRIT OF THE SON. YOU CAN NOT HAVE THE FATHER, OR THE SON WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHERE ONE OF THEM IS, THE OTHERS ARE THERE ALSO. WHAT ONE FEELS THE OTHER TWO FEEL IT AS WELL. THEY ARE SO ONE YET THREE, SO MUCH SO THAT IT’S A MIRACLE AND A MYSTERY. THE HOLY SPIRIT BINDS THE TRINITY TOGETHER WITH LOVE, ONENESS AND POWER THAT I CAN'T EXPLAIN. NOW THAT'S NOT TO SAY HE IS THE GLUE AS SCHOLARS WOULD AGUE, IT’S JUST THAT THE TRINITY IS A MYSTERY NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN ALL ARE JUST TRIALS. ANYWHERE WHO WANTS TO EXPLAIN GOD, SEEING WE WILL ALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST TO ACCOUNT FOR EVERY WORD WE SAID ,TAUGHT, OR OUR MINISTRY AS A WHOLE. THAT MAKES ME TREMBLE.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

THE TRINITY ALWAYS WORK TOGETHER IN HARMONY. THEY HAVE DISTINCT JOBS, BUT ALL IS DONE WITH THE FULL APPROVAL, SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION OF THE OTHER TWO. THE THREE ARE ALWAYS IN AGREEMENT.

WHAT DOES THE FATHER DO?

THE FATHER IS THE HEAD OF THE TRINITY. HE IS THE ONE WHO DECIDED OUT OF HIS POWER, MAJESTY AND WISDOM, TO FORM A GOVERNMENT MADE OF THREE PERSONS OF THE GODHEAD, HIS WORD(JESUS) AND HIS SPIRIT(THE HOLY SPIRIT). BECAUSE HE IS SO POWERFUL, MIGHTY, GLORIOUS, WISE, AND VERY MUCH IN CONTROL, HE DECIDED TO GOVERN THE WORLD BY HIMSELF, FOR HIMSELF, WITH HIMSELF. HE WANTED TO BE EVERYWHERE AT ONCE, AT THE SAME TIME BE SEATED ON THE THRONE IN HEAVEN, AT THE SAME TIME RULING THE UNIVERSE, AT THE SAME TIME, BEING WITH YOU, SAVING YOU, DYING FOR YOU, AT THE SAME TIME LOOKING AFTER YOU WHILE HE IS DEAD, MAKING SURE YOU DON'T DIE, KEEPING THE UNIVERSE WHILE HE IS ON THE CROSS AND SO ON... HE HAD TO SEPARATE HIMSELF INTO THREE. GOD TOOK HIS WORD GAVE HIM A BODY AND SAID "YOU WILL GO ON EARTH AND DIE FOR THEM. WE ARE WITH YOU". HE THEN SAID TO HIS HOLY SPIRIT, "HERE IS YOUR BODY, WHEN JESUS COMES BACK YOU WILL GO AND PREPARE THEM FOR COMING BACK HERE. YOU WILL BE KNOWN AS THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR I AM HOLY." WHY? BECAUSE GOD'S STANDARDS ARE TOO HIGH, PERFECTION, PURITY, HOLINESS, PASSION, WISDOM, ONLY HIM CAN SATISFY HIMSELF. ALSO WHEN IT CAME TO DOING ANYTHING FOR YOU, HE WANTED THE BEST HIGHEST STANDARDS THAT ONLY HIMSELF CAN PROVIDE. CAN YOU IMAGINE IF GOD HAD SENT YOU, A MAN OR WOMAN TO DIE FOR US? I DREAD TO THINK WHAT STANDARD HE COULD HAVE GOT? STOP AND THINK OF SOMEBODY YOU HIGHLY REGARD YOU WILL FIND THAT THE STANDARD, COMMITMENT, PASSION, AND LOVE WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR FROM PERFECT. THE WORK THAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED AT THE CROSS COULD HAVE ONLY COME FROM GOD HIMSELF, THE LOVING FATHER. THAT'S WHY I LOVE JESUS. HE CAME TO REVEAL THE FATHER, BECAUSE HE IS THE FATHER. (.TOO DEEP MAYBE). NICE TRY I SUPPOSE, HMMM, MOVING ON...I HAVE TO ENCOURAGE MYSELF AT TIMES DAVID DID.1 SAMUEL 30:6.).

SO... WE CAN SORT OF UNDERSTAND THE ROLES OF THE TRINITY FROM GENESIS CHAPTER 1-2 WHERE WE FIND THEM WORKING TOGETHER. FROM GENESIS CHAPTER ONE. THE TWO NAMES OF GOD USED THERE ARE THE COMPOUND FORM OF ELOHIM, WHICH MEANS 3 IN ONE. Jehovah - Elohim

Uni-Plural form (3-in-1) - LORD Gods; Strong or mighty and object of fear. The compound emphasizes God as: creator, governing and redeeming man. Also God's direct connection with the nation of Israel.

Genesis 2:4 "These <are> the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,"

Numbers 23:22 "God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn." THE TRUTH HERE IS THAT THEY ARE WORKING TOGETHER, YET WE ALSO REALISE THAT IN THAT UNITY THERE ARE CLEARLY DEFINED ROLES.

WE ALSO FIND THAT, 1- GOD THE FATHER IS ALWAYS THE ONE WHO GIVES THE COMMAND...LET THERE BE. 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ² The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was^[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

³ Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. ⁴ And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. ⁵ God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

 2 JESUS IS THE ONE WHO PERFORMS THAT WORD, THE COMMANDMENT OF THE FATHER. HE MAKES THE “let there be a reality”. HE IS THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE COMMANDMENT OF THE FATHER. THE WORD CREATES...IT’S ALWAYS THE WORD THAT CREATES.... John 1-5

The Eternal Word

 COLOSIANS 1:15-18. JESUS CHRIST CREATED EVERYTHING.

¹⁵ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. ¹⁶ For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. 3 THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS ABOUT THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FATHER, S WORD AND THE WORK, OR ADMINISTRATION OF THE SON. EXAMPLE...THE FATHER SAYS LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR OWN IMAGE.... THEN JESUS CREATES THE MAN (ADAM)

THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT BREATHES INTO MAN. ONLY THEN HE BECAME A LIVING BEING.

 GENESIS 2:⁷ And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being..

 IF THE HOLY SPIRIT HAD NOT BREATHED THE BREATH OF LIFE AFTER JESUS HAD CREATED THE MAN, ADAM WOULD HAVE REMAINED DEAD ON THE GROUND. WITHOUT THE COMMAND OF THE FATHER, JESUS(THE WORD, WOULD NOT HAVE CREATED MAN. WITHOUT JESUS.S WORK OF CREATING OR FORMING MAN WITH THE DUST OF THE GROUND, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO MAN FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BREATHE ON. WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT SUPPLYING THE BREATH OF LIFE ON THE COMMANDMENT OF THE FATHER, AND THE WORK OF THE SON, THE MAN WOULD HAVE REMAINED DEAD. GENESIS 1-2. THIS IS PURE UNITY, ONENESS IN VISION, PARTICIPATION AND PERFECTION.

THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

WHAT THEN IS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT? IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO WHAT JESUS SAID WHEN HE LEFT BECAUSE JESUS IS THE ONE WHO SAID HE WILL SEND US THE HOLY SPIRIT. JOHN 14:12-18.

¹² “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. ¹³ And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If you ask^[a] anything in My name, I will do it.

Jesus Promises Another Helper

¹⁵ “If you love Me, keep^[b] My commandments. ¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— ¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. ¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. IN THESE SCRIPTURES JESUS IS HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH HIS DISCIPLES. HE KNOWS HE IS GOING TO LEAVE THEM SO HE IS GIVING THEM FINAL WORDS, VERY IMPORTANT! HE PROMISES THEM TO ANSWER THEIR PRAYERS. HE GOES ON TO SAY ...IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.... THEN AS IF REALISING THAT KEEPING COMMANDMENTS ON YOUR OWN IS NOT EASY, HE SAYS I WILL PRAY THE FATHER, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER HELPER, THAT HE MAY ABIDE WITH YOU FOREVER....VS 16. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ANOTHER HELPER.

I WOULD LIKE TO EXPLAIN THE WORDS, ANOTHER AND HELPER... THE WORD,

ANOTHER, IN GREEK IS THE WORD ALLOS. THIS MEANS ONE OF THE SAME KIND, ALLOS SHOWS SIMILARITIES BUT ALSO DIVERSITIES OF OPERATION AND MINISTRIES. THE WORD MAY ALSO MEAN ONE BESIDES ME OR IN ADDITION TO ME BUT ONE LIKE ME. ALLOS REALLY MEANS SOME ONE WHO WILL DO IN MY ABSENCE, WHAT I WOULD PHYSICALLY DO IF I WAS PRESENT. IT’S CONTINUITY WITH WHERE JESUS LEFT OFF.

HELPER

THE WORD HELPER IS THE GREEK WORD, PARAKLETOS. THE WORD REALLY MEANS ... (PARA-BESIDE AND KALEO - TO CALL) CALLED TO ONE'S SIDE. IT INCLUDES INTERCESSOR, COMFORTER, COUNSELLOR, HELPER, AND ADVOCATE. WE KNOW ROMANS 8:26.EXPLAINS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 8:26

For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us^[a] with groaning’s which cannot be uttered. IN JOHN JESUS GIVES US THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. 15 :26 -27,(NKJV)²⁶ “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. ²⁷ And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning. AND JESUS CONTINUES TO EXPLAIN THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN CHAPTER JOHN 16,VS 1-15. JESUS EXPLAINS THAT THE HELPER COMES FROM BOTH JESUS AND THE FATHER...HE IS THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH....AND HE TESTIFIES OF JESUS AND BEARS WITNESS TO JESUS WORK HERE. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REALLY GRASP THAT JESUS EXPLAINED THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH. WHY? BECAUSE JESUS LATER SAID HE IS THE GUIDER INTO ALL TRUTH AND WILL TELL US OF THINGS TO COME. JESUS SAID HE WILL NOT SPEAK ON HIS OWN AUTHORITY WHATEVER HE HEARS HE WILL SPEAK. THAT MEANS THE HOLY GHOST TELLS YOU THINGS THAT HE HEARS FROM HEAVEN, FROM THE FATHER, CONCERNING YOU OR WHATEVER AFFECTS YOU IN ANY WAY. ALSO ACCORDING TO 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9-13 (NKJV) ⁹ But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”^[a]

¹⁰ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. ¹¹ For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. ¹² Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

¹³ These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy^[b] Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.,

 WE READ A FEW THINGS CONCERNING THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

VS- 10 GOD HAS REVEALED THINGS THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS, YES THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.

VS11- FOR WHAT MAN KNOWS THE THINGS OF A MAN EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF THE MAN WHICH IS IN HIM. EVEN SO NO ONE KNOWS THE THINGS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

V12- HE WAS GIVEN TO US TO TELL US THE THINGS THAT THE FATHER HAS FREELY GIVEN TO US.

V13- WHEN WE KNOW THESE THINGS, HE HELPS US TO SPEAK AND TEACH THEM, HELPING US TO COMPARE THESE THINGS WITH OTHER SPIRITUAL TRUTH.

CAN YOU IMAGINE YOURSELF WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT? I ALWAYS IMAGINE HIS JOY WHEN HE HAS SEARCHED THE MIND OF THE FATHER AND FOUND MY ANSWER TO MY PRAYER, IMAGINE AS HE JOYFULLY REVEALS THESE THINGS TO ME AND STARTS ENCOURAGING ME WITH THE WORD OF GOD. WHEN I SAY AH, REALLY CAN I GET THAT? HE IMEDIATELY SAYS THE WORD SAYS YOU CAN DO ANYTHING THRU CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS YOU. HE REVEALS SCRIPTURE AFTER SCRIPTURE TO UP HOLD ME, AND HELP ME TO ACCEPT WHAT THE FATHER HAS FREELY PROVIDED FOR ME. I LOVE IT WHEN HE REMINDS ME OF JOHN 16:23-27. John 16:23-27

Jesus Christ Has Overcome the World

²⁵ “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. ²⁶ In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; ²⁷ FOR THE FATHER HIMSELF LOVES YOU, BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOVED ME, AND HAVE BELIEVED THAT I CAME FORTH FROM GOD.

FOR THE FATHER HIMSELF LOVES YOU! CAN YOU COMPREHEND THAT? THE HOLY SPIRIT DOESN’T JUST THROW THINGS AT YOU, HE WORKS WITH YOU TILL YOU UNDERSTAND, QOURTING SCRIPTURE AFTER SCRIPTURE. THANK GOD FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT. I LOVE ADORE AND WORSHIP HIM. HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE. I APPRECIATE YOU HOLY GHOST, WITHOUT YOU, I WOULD BE NOTHING AS IGNORENT AS THE DARKEST NIGHT. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AS YOU HAVE ENCOURAGED ME ON MY FAITH, ON THE LOVE OF JESUS, ON THE LOVE OF THE FATHER. I GIVE GOD THE GLORY. ALSO ON YOUR LOVE FOR ME. I LOVE YOU HOLY SPIRIT. ONE THING THAT AMAZES ME IS HIS POWER, WISDOM, AND ABILITY TO HOLD THINGS TOGETHER EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF PAIN, THE CROSS. WHEN JESUS WAS ON THE CROSS THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS WITH HIM COMFORTING HIM, COMFORTING THE FATHER, COMFORTING HEAVEN, COMFORTING THOSE ON EARTH WHO WERE TOUCHED, COMFORTING MARY, AT THE SAME TIME RUNNING THE UNIVERSE, MAKING SURE EVERYWHERE ELSE THINGS ARE RUNNING NORMAL, WHILE THE PLAN OF SALVATION IS BEING CARRIED OUT, DIRECTLY TO THE FATHER’S EXPECTATION, EMPOWERING JESUS TO FINISH THE WORK. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE MOOD IN HEAVEN THAT DAY? THE WORD SAYS THE SUN REFUSED TO SHINE, CAN YOU IMAGINE THE ANGELS AS THEY SAW THEIR KING AND CREATOR BRUTALY DIE IN THE HANDS OF HIS CREATION HE DEARLY LOVES? THINK OF ADAM AND EVE THAT VERY MOMENT! WHY IS THIS PASSAGE IMPORTANT? JESUS WAS TEACHING US A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

IN THOSE DAYS IT WAS THE ROLE OF THE BRIDEGROOM AND HIS FATHER NOT ONLY TO INVITE GUESTS BUT ALSO TO PROVIDE WEDDING GARMENTS FOR THE GUESTS. THAT IS WHY THE KING WAS UNHAPPY WITH THOSE WHO TOOK LIGHT OF THE INVITATION AND PUT THEIR BUSINESS FIRST, THEN HE WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE MAN WHO HAD NO WEDDING GARMENT. WHY?, BECAUSE IF HE HAD PROVIDED THE WEDDING GARMENT THEN THE GUEST WHO HAD NO GARMENT HAD NOT BOTHERED TO PUT IT OWN, HAD MADE LIGHT OF THE WHOLE GARMENT THING, EVEN THOUGH HE HAD COME TO THE WEDDING, HE HAD NOT FULLY CO OPERATED WITH THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE GUESTS ARE FITLY DRESSED FOR THE WEDDING. A BRIEF LOOK AT THIS PASSAGE, FROM VERSE 7 ISAIAH EXPLAINS THE LOVINGKINDNESS OF THE LORD, HIS GOODNESS AND UPTO BEING A SAVIOR FOR ISRAEL, HE CALLS THEM HIS PEOPLE, CHILDREN VS8. VS 9 GOD GETS INVOLVED PERSONALLY IN THEIR AFFLICTIONS AND SUFFERS WITH THEM LIKE A FATHER BUT LOOK AT VS 10, READ IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

¹⁰ But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;
So He turned Himself against them as an enemy,
And He fought against them.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SHOCKING SCRIPTURES IN THE BIBLE, ITS SOBERING AND TERIFYING. THE ALMIGHTY LOVING GOD, THE FATHER, TURNED AGAINST HIS CHILDREN AND FOUGHT THEM HIMSELF,, AS AN ENEMY BECAUSE THEY HAD GRIEVED THE HOLY SPIRIT.

NEVER GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. IN THE PASSAGE IN MATTHEW, THE GUEST WHO HAD IGNORED THE DRESSING PROCESS JESUS WARNED THAT THE KING(THE FATHER) SAID BIND HIM AND THROW HIM OUT INTO OUTER DARKNESS WHERE THERE IS WEEPING AND GNASING OF TEETH.

BASICALLY THIS PASSAGE TELLS US THAT JESUS SHALL RULE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.ALL THAT JESUS WAS IS WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIVER. ALSO FROM THIS PASSAGE WE UNDERSTAND THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SON. THE WORD LORD THE IS YAHWEH( Yah·weh;) WHICH IS A TITLE USED FOR BOTH JESUS AND THE FATHER.

ISAIAH 61 SAYS,

61 “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD GOD IS UPON ME,

Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry

NOTHING THAT JESUS EVER DID WAS HIS OWN POWER.

EVERY MINISTRY SHOULD BE LED AND BE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

IN JOHN 15:26 AND JOHN 14: 17-18 JESUS TELLS US THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. HESAYS HE SHALL GUIDE IS INTO ALL TRUTH,  WELL BECAUSE ISAIAH TELLS US THAT HE IS THE SPIRIT OF

WHEN THE RIVER OF LIFE IS PRESENT IN THE LIFE OF A BELIEVER, THE BENEFITS THAT ARE RECORDED IN THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE ARE EVIDENT, FRUIT, HEALING, FISH, FOOD, LIFE, REPRODUCTION, OVER ABUNDANCE, OVERFLOW, EVERGREEN LIFE, FULLNESS OF LIFE AND MANY OTHERS RECORDED IN DIFFERENT SCRIPTURES.

NOW BACK TO OUR POINT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REVELATION..WE HAVE SEEN THAT THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE BIBLE STARTS WITH REFERENCE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, NOW LOOK AT THIS,-

AFTER THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM JESUS CHRIST AND A WARNING FROM JOHN, THE WRITER OF REVELATION.

SO GOD STARTS WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN GENESIS AND ENDS WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REVELATION. MAY BE I SHOULD SAY GOD STARTS WITH BOTH THE WORD (JESUS) AND THE SPIRIT AND FINISHES THE BIBLE WITH JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I WOULD LIKE TO BRIEFLY DISCUSS THE TITLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IN RELATING TO THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. I BELIEVE IT’S THE MOST OVERLOOKED AND ABUSED, BECAUSE THE ENEMY HAS LIED TO CHILDREN OF GOD AND SAID, GOD IS A FATHER, HE UNDERSTANDS.-

THERE IS NO REASON WHY GOD PUT THAT SCRIPTURE” “ BE HOLY FOR IAM HOLY” IF HE DIDN’T EXPECT YOU TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE. GOD IS HOLY, AND HE HAS GIVEN US THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP US LEAD A HOLY LIFE. YES HE UNDERSTANDS THE STUMBLES OF A CHILD BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN UDULT  BEHAVES LIKE A BABY? IS GOD EXPECTED TO UNDERSTAND. DO WE AS FATHERS, MOTHERS ETC, TOLERATE AN UDULT WHO MESSES HIMSELF UP AND COMES FOR WASHING UP EVERYDAY?. THE SPIRIT YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY GOD IS CALLED THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE IS HOLY, DISLIKES SIN, AND STRIVES TO HELP YOU GROW IN GOD TO LIVING A HOLY LIFE BECAUSE HE IS THERE TO HELP YOU.

NOW THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THERE TO HELP YOU TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND GOD, IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU HAVE REVERENTIAL FEAR AND RESPECT FOR HIM AS A FATHER.ITS IMPORTANT TO HAVE FEAR AND REVERANCE FOR GOD THE BIBLE SAYS IT’S THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.

JESUS SAID WHEN HE COMES HE WILL CONVICT THE WORLD OF SIN. SO YOU CANT SAY YOU DIDN’T KNOW ITS SIN IF THE ONE WHO CONVICTS YOU LIVES ON THE INSIDE OF YOU.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

SAYS THE LORD.

²¹ “AS FOR ME,” SAYS THE LORD, “THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM: MY SPIRIT WHO IS UPON YOU, AND MY WORDS WHICH I HAVE PUT IN YOUR MOUTH, SHALL NOT DEPART FROM YOUR MOUTH, NOR FROM THE MOUTH OF YOUR DESCENDANTS, NOR FROM THE MOUTH OF YOUR DESCENDANTS’ DESCENDANTS,” SAYS THE LORD, “FROM THIS TIME AND FOREVERMORE.”

VERSES 19-20 TELL US THAT FOR THOSE WHO TURN AWAY FROM THEIR TRANSGRESSIONS, A REEDEMER WILL COME, AND WHEN AN ENEMY COMES LIKE A FLOOD THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL RAIUSE UP A STANDARD AGAINST HIM, A STANDARD HE CANT MATCH OR DEFEAT.

GOD HAS STANDARDS WHICH HE REQUIRES US TO DO  THINGS, HIS BUSINESS. DON’T JUST THINK GOD WILL ACCEPT WHATEVER, READ ISAIAH 58. YOU WILL REALISE THAT HERE TOO GOD WAS NOT ACCEPTING OR LISTENING TO THEIR PRAYERS EVEN FASTING. HE WENT ON TO EXPLAIN WHAT WAS WRONG AND WHAT HIS STANDARDS ARE… READ ON.

Fasting that Pleases God

58 “Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins.
² Yet they seek Me daily,
And delight to know My ways,
As a nation that did righteousness,
And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.
They ask of Me the ordinances of justice;
They take delight in approaching God.
³ ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’

THIS IS HIS ANSWER!

In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,
And exploit all your laborers.
⁴ Indeed you fast for strife and debate,
And to strike with the fist of wickedness.
You will not fast as you do this day,
To make your voice heard on high.
⁵ Is it a fast that I have chosen,
A day for a man to afflict his soul?
Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,

Would you call this a fast,
And an acceptable day to the Lord?

The Just Live by Faith

The Lukewarm Church

1-      TO THE DEAD CHURCH JESUS SAYS EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A NAME THAT YOU ARE ALIVE, YOU ARE DEAD!HE SAYS REPENT OR I WILL BLOT YOUR NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE. VS 5.IF YOU ARE BLOTED OUT OR REMOVED IT MEANS YOU WERE ONCE THERE. DON’T BE FOOLED, ITS POSSIBLE TO HAVE YOUR NAME REMOVED FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE.

2-      TO THE LUKEWARM CHURCH JESUS SAYS HE WILL VOMIT OT OUT OF HIS MOUTH.VS16.

3-      BUT THERE IS HOPE IN VS 19 HE SAYS BE ZEALOUS AND REPENT.

NB THERE IS A PHRASE THAT KEEPS ON APPEARING THAT SHOW THAT JESUS IS WORKING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, FOR HE IS THE ONE WHO PREPARES THE CHURCH FOR CHRIST, AND WHO CONVICTS THE WORLD OF SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.

CONCLUSION AND SUMMARY!.

WHAT WORKS ARE CONSIDERED DETRIMENTAL TO MY STANDING WITH GOD?

THE WORD GIVES A CLEAR RECORD OF WHAT IS CALLED THE WORKS OF THE FLESH, AND WARNS THAT THOSE WHO PRACTISE SUCH SHALL NOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD! READ-

GALATIANS 5:19-21.NKJV.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,^[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ envy, murders,^[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 ^NIV.19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; ²⁰ idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions ²¹ and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

QUESTION WHAT SHALL WE DO? WHAT IS ACCEPTIBLE?

GALATIANS 5 : ¹⁵But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

¹⁶But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

Walking in the Spirit

WHAT ARE THE WORKS OF THE SPIRIT AS OPPOSED TO THE WORKS OF THE FLESH?

THEY ARE CALLED THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT, BECAUSE THEY DEVELOP AS THE BELIEVER ALLOWS THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WORK IN HIS/HER LIFE.-

3-      BUT WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT DO?

4-      REMEMBER GOD IS IN HEAVEN SEATED ON HIS THRONE RIGHT NOW!.

5-      JESUS IS IN HEAVEN SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER INTERCEEDING FOR US THAT WE CO-OPERATE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT RIGHT NOW.

6-      SO WHO IS WITH US?

THOUSANDS COME GLORIFYING JESUS MAYBE 10 MENTION THE HOLY SPIRIT.THE HLOY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS, BUT HE HAS A PERSONALITY AND FORM ON HIS OWN ALTHOUGH OF THE SAME SUBSTANCE AND EQUALITY WITH THE FATHER AND SON. HE WANTS TO BE WORSHIPED, LOVED, TALKED TO , ACKNOWLEDGED, APPRECIATED, THANKED, AND MORE THAN EVER TALKED TO. CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT ITS LIKE TO SPEND EVERY SECOND WITH SOMEBODY, THEY DON’T TALK TO YOU, ACKNOWLEDGE YOU, THEY COMLPETELY IGNORE YOU. JESUS WANTS US TO INCLUDE, RECOGNISE THE HOLY SPIRIT, APPRECIATE HIM, LOVE, ADORE, WORSHIP JUST THE SAME WAY WE DO TO THE FATHER AND JESUS. THEY ARE CO EQUAL IN EVERYTHING,AND THEREFORESHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME WAY WITH RESPECT, REVERENCE, ADORATION, PRAISE, LOVE AND WORSHIP. NON OF THEM ARE HAPPY EHEN YOU IGNORE ONE OF THEM. MAYBE YOU ARE SAYING WHY HASN’T HE SAID SOMETHING?. HE IS A GENTLEMAN, WOULD NOT FORCE HIS WAY. JESUS SAID HE WIILL GLORIFY ME. SO HE GLORIFIES JESUS AND TEACHES US ABOUT THE FATHER. BUT HE WILL NEVER TELL YOU TO WORSHIP HIM. SO LEARN FROM THIS AND START A LIFE OF FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. TALK TO HIM, TELL HIM THINGS, ASK HIM THINGS, ASK HIM TO TEACH YOU THE BIBLE AND REVEAL IT TO YOU, HE IS THE ONE WHO WROTE IT SO HE KNOWS. LOVE AND ADORE HIM, WORSHIP HIM. FIRST APOLOGISE FOR IGNORING HIM AND THANK HIM FOR HIS PATIENCE AND STICKING WITH YOU DESPITE YOU TOTALLY IGNORING HIM..LOVE YOU HOLY GHOST. I REALISED HIM FIRST WHEN HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE IS THE ONE WHO NHAS BEEN WITH ME SINCE I WAS BORN. IN SO MANY VISITATIONS I HAD FROM JESUS, HE SPOKE OF LEARNING TO APPRECIATE, WORSHIP, AND FELLOWSHIPING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

4-    JESUS ALSO ENCOURAGED ME TO SPEAK IN TOUNGES AND EXPLAINED THE IMPORTANCE OF SPEAKING IN TOUNGES. ALTHOUGH IVE TRIED NOT TO MENTION MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES WITH THE KING OF kings, JESUS, I FEEL THE ISSUE OF SPEAKING IN TOUNGES AND HELL IS VERY VITAL. SPEAKING IN TOUNGES IS A VERY MUCH  IMPORTANT GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. IT DIDN’T CEASE. DON’T LISTEN TO THE ENEMY ROBBING YOU OF YOUR HEAVENLY LANGUAGE. HELL IS REAL. THERE ARE SO MANY WEBSITES THAT RECORD NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES. GO THERE AND LEARN. THE HOLY SPIRIT LED ME THERE WHEN I WAS WONDERING WHY WOULD A CHRISTIAN END UP IN HELL. I LEANT A LOT.
